hope for the nations Hope for the Nations (HFTN) works in partnership with local communities and organizations in over 20 countries to provide orphans and vulnerable children with caring homes, health care and education in their communities. HFTN provides financial oversight and aid delivery advice on the Convoy For Hope famine relief project in Somalia.

canadian somali congress The Canadian Somali Congress (CSC) raises awareness of issues that affect the Canadian Somali community and achieves this objective through education, public awareness, media relations and non-partisan government relations. CSC aims to create an increased capacity for diversity within the Canadian Somali community by emphasizing a variety of human rights, civil liberties and social justice issues. The CSC works to promote the development of friendly and mutually beneficial relations between Canada and Somalia as well as assisting the Somali people in building a peaceful, united, independent and democratic Somali state. CSC encourages the full participation of Canadian Somalis in all aspects of Canadian society.

canadian women for women in afghanistanThe Canadian Women For Women Afghanistan (CWFWA) share a common vision with the GEF - that change in countries torn by poverty and war will happen by educating women and girls. In honour of International Women's Day 2011 CWFWA presented a cheque of $1,000 to the GEF which will support female Somali refugees in the Dadaab refugee camps through SHE WILL.

The Foundation's mission is to work and grow together creatively in our world community with respect, compassion, understanding and transparency.
