Empowering Youth To Be The ChangeThe Global Enrichment Foundation has a commitment to share the message of social responsibility with school age youth. From the elementary to university level we create awareness by connecting with students through public engagements and speakers in addition to fundraising initiatives. The GEF has connected with thousands of students and youth groups across Canada. "I am passionate about making a connection between compassion and social responsibility - a duty we all have to make the world a better place. The dictionary defines human rights as: the rights and freedoms to which all human beings are entitled. Living in a prosperous Western country, we don't usually have to give much thought to human rights, they are ingrained into our society and even written into law. Can you imagine what life is like for millions and millions around the world who live in countries where even the most basic freedoms are kept from them? We can create change and bring about a just and equitable world once we are informed and decide it is important. I believe that it is this generation of youth who will make the difference."
